Fundraising

As a not-for-profit organisation (NFP), Woorayl Lodge Incorporated relies on funding from various sources, including local fundraising activities.

We would be lost without the tireless efforts of our Fundraising Auxiliary members – volunteers who have raised tens of thousands of dollars to help us since 1972. The money raised contributes to enhancing and improving the Lodge for the wellbeing of our residents, thus improving their lifestyle.

Being part of a fundraising auxiliary in a small, close-knit community puts you in touch with people you already know, and people you haven’t yet had the chance to meet. It’s a perfect opportunity to introduce yourself, and the invaluable service that Woorayl Lodge provides to our aged care residents.

The Woorayl Lodge Fundraising Auxiliary welcomes new members who share their passion: raising funds for a wonderful cause. You are invited to create your own fundraising initiatives or to help out with existing projects including regular raffles and the annual November fete.

We wholeheartedly appreciate the time and continued efforts of the volunteers, who come up with innovative ideas to raise money. Anyone who dedicates their free time towards helping others is an incredibly selfless and special person.

If you are that person, contact our administration staff and they will guide you in the right direction.
